"Such a lovely place which has been here in Leipzig for more than 100 years! Walk in and you feel immediately taken back in time, from the corner of games like dominos to the newspapers clipper and the handwritten signs. If you want to find gelato, you will not find it. You will find, however, the flavor and texture of your childhood that your adult self craves for. Not only do they offer ice cream (in 4-5 different types of cones!) But also several cookies and newly-baked waffles with butter sugar. It is thin, super crunchy and even though there is not enough of the inside dough, its subtle softness and chewiness goes well with a scoop of ice cream. The only down point is you will have to wait pretty long, but at such a place, time will be frozen anyway."

"Schöne, kleine Eisdiele in der Südvorstadt. Alles selbst gemacht. Kaffeegedeck mit Waffeln, Kirschen, Vanilleeis und Kaffee sehr zu empfehlen. Viele Familien kommen zum Eis essen ob in der Waffel oder im Becher, alles möglich. Sitzmöglichkeiten innen und außen. Ganz tolles Eiscafe."
